About Jessica Villarreal

Jessica Villarreal – Architectural Professional

Jessica Villarreal earned her Master’s Degree in Architecture in Costa Rica in 2010. Shortly after graduating, she moved to the United States to continue developing her professional career in architecture.

Since then, Jessica has gained experience working with architectural firms and collaborating with building departments, including work with Arlington County’s building inspection team, which strengthened her understanding of construction processes, permitting, and code compliance.

She is currently working in the architecture field while actively preparing for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) as part of her path toward professional licensure in the United States.

Jessica brings an international architectural background, practical project experience, and a strong commitment to professional growth within the architecture and construction industry.

Construction Administration is one of the most demanding phases of an architectural project.

While architects are highly trained in design, many firms never receive structured guidance on how to manage the CA phase effectively.

Through my work with architecture teams, I have seen how the lack of clear workflows creates unnecessary stress, delays, and communication issues during construction.

My focus is to help architecture firms bring structure and clarity to the CA phase by developing practical workflows for:

  • RFIs

  • submittals

  • site observations

  • consultant coordination

  • contractor communication

  • project closeout

Rather than relying on reactive problem-solving, firms can implement clear systems that support the entire team.

The result is better organization, stronger communication, and more confident project management during Construction Administration.
